Nilaya is a Maine native that left for school, work and travel for ten years before returning to enjoy the bounty of Maine. Raising her two young children in coastal Maine provides endless joy and adventure. Before becoming a Physician Assistant in 2014, she pursued careers in wilderness therapy, outdoor education, boat building and gardening. Hobbies she loves the most include biking, field hockey, rowing, running, sea kayaking, skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, camping, bike touring, crafts, reading, and most importantly being a Mom.
Treatment Philosophy
Since a young age my mother taught me the importance of empathy and finding the joy and wellbeing in all. I strive to find a personal connection with every patient, and create a treatment plan encompassing the physical and emotional best interest of each patient.
